    For those night owls, ages 4-12 years old, campers will be able to play lots of indoor games, play outside, make crafts, and of course, eat dinner provided by the newly redesigned Catalina Kitchen.     To celebrate September’s National Yoga Awareness Month and World Wellness Weekend, Terranea Resort will host its annual outdoor seaside yoga gathering.     Terranea’s culinary program continues to expand as we harvest olives at local orchard Villa Oneiro, located on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Villa Oneiro has more than 70 olive trees of different Mediterranean varieties that give Terranea’s chefs the opportunity to press and produce our own olive oil and cure olives using our pristine coastal ocean water. Be our guest to watch this year’s olive pressing and taste for yourself the delicious olive oil produced onsite at Palos Verdes Circle Drive. Visit Terranea’s dining outlets throughout the day for featured olive dishes and cocktails, such as olive oil gelato from sea beans!

    Explore Terranea by Land and Sea with an experience highlighting the resort’s farm-to-Terranea philosophy. Sea Salt Workshop attendees will enjoy an intimate workshop, salt pairing, and wine, as they learn about the resort’s sea salt harvesting process with Terranea’s award-winning chefs. Terranea’s Sea Salt Conservatory is used to harvest and produce Terranea’s own signature sea salt.

    Created using local seawater from the Pacific, the conservatory serves as a natural evaporation greenhouse resulting in high quality, mineral-rich sea salt, and ultimately enabling the resort to become sea salt-sustainable. The workshop will include a sea salt tasting and salt pairing along with a glass of wine by ONEHOPE Wine. The Sea Salt Conservatory is located adjacent to the Palos Verdes Ballroom Terrace.
